LIGHTING PROFILES
Lighting profiles are one of the pillars of Thermoplast production.
According to the specification, we produce functional and dimensionally accurate profiles for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications.
Materials used for extrusion of lighting profiles include, among others, PC (Polycarbonate) – material with very good transparency and parameters, used in a wide range of operating temperatures, with exceptional mechanical properties; PMMA (Polymethyl Methacrylate) – highly transparent thermoplastic with excellent dispersion properties. We also have experience in extruding lighting profiles from PVC (Polyvinyl chloride), ABS (Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene), PS (Polystyrene).
Thermoplast lighting profiles are not only lamp shades, LED covers, mounting profiles, but also profiles for infrared anti-intrusion protection.
HYDROPONIC
Hydroponic (soilless) cultivation of plants is currently gaining more and more popularity.
Hydroponic cultivation requires the use of appropriate techniques that use containers or specially designed and extruded plastic benches with channels to allow the plants to stay suspended in water.Our company, using 30 years of experience in extrusion and co-extrusion of plastic profiles, and thanks to the continuous development of applied technologies, implements projects in the field of hydroponics for individual orders.
Extruded PVC profiles for soilless (hydroponic) cultivation produced by Thermoplast have a number of advantages:
- profiles for hydroponics are extruded from PVC Thermoblend blend specially developed by Thermoplast, which meets the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the field of approval for contact with food.
- profiles are characterized by perfect dimensional repeatability, high strength, stiffness, resistance to UV radiation and nutrient components.
- profiles can be stamped (imprint) according to customer’s request
- profiles can have holes of various diameters at different intervals – this allows the cultivation of many species of plants in accordance with the recipient’s needs
- smooth surface of the profiles reduces the deposition of dirt and enables easier cleaning

Thermoplast has over 30 years of experience in the production of technical profiles, including profiles dedicated to a demanding refrigeration sector.
hermoplast produces hard and soft PVC profiles for refrigeration industry.
Each client, including those just starting cooperation with Thermoplast, can rely on professional assistance in designing the profile to obtain its maximum usability, while maintaining sufficiently low costs (e.g. by perfectly matching the profile to other components used by customer).
Our profiles withstand use in a wide temperature range very well – this factor is taken into account at the very beginning of the project
Refrigeration PVC profiles do not require additional varnishing, Thermoplast offers them in any color chosen by the client.
